Subscriptions for all groups and individuals members of the ‘Forum’ are due on 31st December each year.
Annual membership Rates are listed below as follows:
- Societies & Organisations: £20.00
- Business Members: £20.00
- Individuals: £6.00
Membership is open to local history societies, heritage groups, project teams, museums, archives and libraries, schools and colleges along with private individuals.
The ‘Forum’s’ membership covers the whole of the historic County of Durham, between the Rivers Tyne and Tees in the north and south along with the North Pennines to the west and North Sea coast to the east.
As well as covering the local history, archaeology, genealogy and folklore of areas throughout the historic county, our membership includes those with specific interests including mining, railways, buses, spinning and weaving, amateur football associations, mills and weaving along with war memorials.
Membership of the ‘Forum’ offers:

- Opportunity to freely publicise events, projects, publications and activities via our website and newsletters.
- Receive copies of our quarterly newsletter
- Free attendance at ‘Forum’ organised events throughout the year
